DJing For Dummies

If Serato Scratch were not enough, now I read in the New York Times that there are a couple of Ipod-DJ machines coming that will likely change the game forever. Pretty cool for me, a quiet DJ and guy with a mean music collection. It’s great being friends with some of the world’s greatest dj’s: DJ Jazzy Jeff, Rich Medina, Lil Louie Vega & Kenny Dope (Masters At Work), Vikter Duplaix, Timmy Regisford, Mr. French, Garth Trinidad and D-Nice. I have been all over the world with most of these guys and know all the latest techniques. Now they will fear me and I too will grab all the money from All Star Weekend, Superbowl, Grammys and Fashion Week!

Ha! There’s plenty of money to go around! You still have to know when to play a song and how to mix it the right way!

The thing on the right is the Pacemaker which is being launched in Feb 08 looks awesome and as a concept it really gets my vote, I’ve currently got a cortex D-mix300 iPod DJing station which is good, and to be fair you still need basic DJing skills to get it to really sing, and naturally being able to program will never cease being important.
