IS THIS THE CURATOR OF THE HIP HOP EXHIBIT IN D.C.?
For some reason I don’t think he would know “Hip Hop” if it slapped his momma. According to Hits Daily Double
“The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History is putting together an exhibit to honor the history of rap music, “Hip-Hop Won’t Stop: the Beat, the Rhymes, the Life,” which will commemorate the musical form “as one of the most influential cultural explosions ever.” The exhibit, a brainchild of ex-LaFace and Arista Records exec Mark Shimmel, was made possible with initial support from Universal Music. The kick-off announcement will be made by Russell Simmons at the Hilton N.Y. on Feb. 28 at 11 a.m.
